Customer Engagement Specialist (students)

About the job
As Understory grow in both the Danish and Swedish market, we need to be ready and 'on call' whenever a potential customer show interest in our product or when a signed customer encounters problems and needs assistance.
With this in mind we are looking for skilled and independent students who can handle customer interactions during evenings and weekends from our office in Copenhagen.
You will become a key link in our commercial team, which consists of Sales and Customer Success. The role combines the best of both disciplines, where your primary responsibility will be reaching out to inbound leads, as well as handling inquiries from existing customers and preparing signed deals to onboarding meetings.
We expect you to be able to work in a structured and efficient manner, and is able to quickly familiarize yourself with insights into our business, product, customers and market.

Key Responsibilities - in prioritized order:
- Reach out to inbound leads generated through Intercom and other channels according to normal service level agreement (SLA). The outreach is expected to end up in booked meetings with our Account Executives (AE) or the necessary information that enables our Sales Development Representatives (SDR) to follow up the next day - depending on complexity of lead.
- Handle customer questions in Intercom directly - to the extent possible
- Prepare signed deals to onboarding meetings with Customer Succes, i.e. create account and setup pages
What we expect from you
The right candidate has most likely worked in somekind of servicejob before. Your line of education and type of experience is not important, but we expect you to feel at home and in flow when navigating various software products.
Our commercial teams consist of 15 ambitious people, which gives you the perfect chance to help set high ambitions and join the journey as we set the bar high and deliver next level operational service to our customers.
We expect you are able to work from the office 2 shifts (7-8 hours) per week. Opening hours are expected to be:
- Monday - Friday: 17.00 - 21.00
- Saturday - Sunday: 12.00 - 17.00
- Holidays: 12.00 - 17.00 (except 24/12 and 31/12)
Qualifications:
- Experienced communicator in danish and English
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy work environment
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
