About the role
We are looking for a Product Marketing Lead to help us tell the story of Understory in a way that resonates with experience businesses everywhere. You’ll shape how we position our products, launch new features, and connect the dots between what we build and how customers find value. You make sure our message is clear, differentiated, and inspiring across every channel, so we drive real adoption and growth.
You’ll work closely with product, sales, and customer success to bring insights and the voice of the customer into our product. Equally you'll bring the product to our customers, with impact. What you'll do
- Craft clear, differentiated messaging that helps customers across segments instantly “get” Understory and see our unique value.
- Lead launches: Build and run launch playbooks that make new features and products land with maximum impact.
- Enable teams: Equip sales, growth and customer success with narratives, content, and tools that win and expand accounts.
- Bring the market in: Translate customer insights, usage data, and competitive signals into product and marketing priorities.
- Tell stories creatively: Experiment with campaigns, customer case studies, and new formats to make our story resonate.
- Measure impact: Track adoption, activation, and pipeline influence to show how product marketing drives growth.
What you won't do
- Operate in a silo. Product marketing here means being the bridge across product, sales, marketing and customer success.
- Simply repeat what competitors are doing. You’ll help define a new category, not just play catch-up.
- Focus only on outputs like decks or one-pagers. Your work will be measured by adoption, activation, and growth.

- Have a proven track record of running product marketing at scale in B2B SaaS.
- Can translate complex products into clear, engaging stories that resonate.
- Enjoy working closely with product and sales, acting as the connector between teams.
- Have experience with different sales motions like outbound, inbound, and product-led growth.
- Use AI to multiply your impact; automating the repetitive so you can focus on high-leverage decisions.
- Are motivated by impact; measured in adoption, activation, and revenue contribution.
