Account Executive – Italian Market (Copenhagen-based)
About Understory:
Understory is a platform for experience creators - from tours to classes - helping them manage bookings, payments, and operations with clarity and less stress. We are scaling globally after a €12M Series-A and are expanding our team in Copenhagen.
Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive Account Executive to drive growth in the Italian market from our Copenhagen office. You will manage the full sales cycle, convert leads into paying customers, and build long-term relationships with experience providers.
Responsibilities:
Manage full sales cycle for Italian experience providers from Copenhagen
Convert leads into customers and close deals
Collaborate with SDRs for smooth lead handovers
Track pipeline and forecasts in CRM
Provide market insights to inform strategy
Represent Understory in virtual events targeting Italian clients
Requirements:
Fluent in Italian & English
Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
Self-starter and proactive
Passion for experiences and helping creators succeed
Nice to Have:
Proven B2B sales / AE experience (SaaS or experience economy preferred)
Network in tourism, travel, or events
Experience with experience-booking, hospitality, or SaaS platforms
Familiarity with CRM tools
Multilingual / European market knowledge
