About the Role
As our SDR for Denmark, you’ll focus on the Danish market, generating qualified leads and building relationships with potential customers for our Account Executives. You’ll contribute directly to revenue growth in Denmark, provide insights into local market dynamics, and support the sales team in refining outreach strategies.
You’ll research and connect with experience providers – from tours and classes to events and local activities – and turn conversations into booked meetings. You’ll also provide feedback to product and marketing teams and help optimize our processes for the Danish market.
What You’ll Do
Identify and research potential customers (experience providers, venues, activity operators) in Denmark
Reach out via calls, email, and LinkedIn to introduce Understory’s value
Qualify leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
Maintain accurate lead and prospect data in the CRM; track progress and report insights
Share learnings about the Danish market – local trends, competitor activity, and cultural preferences
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and support growth
What We’re Looking For
Fluency in Danish and English (written & spoken)
Strong communication and outreach skills; proactive and well-organized
Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt pitches to the Danish market
Passion for experiences, travel, and the experience economy
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment
Nice to have
Network within the tourism, travel, or events industries in Denmark
Familiarity with experience-booking platforms, hospitality, or SaaS
Experience with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Guava, Gong)
